Basic and advanced trainings in hypnotherapy in accordance with to the guidelines of the Institut für die Förderung von Hypnoseanwendungen Berlin can be registered and provided with the seal of the institute if they meet the requirements as set out below:

• Minimum of 200 hours of training (minimum 6 month basic plus minimum 6 month advanced training).

• Certification requires that the participant can, at the end of training aptly demonstrate a level of competence.

The goal of this training is the safe use of classic and modern hypnosis techniques including hypnotic inductions, deepening techniques, ethical considerations, methods of testing, hypnotic suggestions, practical use.

Altogether, at least 200 hours of training are required for basic and advanced training total. In addition to the hours in the training (at least 140 hours) is the use of peer groups necessary.

Participation in peer groups and additional supervision is strongly recommended.
